Travel Ethiopia's two directors have substantial tourism expertise. Samrawit Moges has been directing tours around the country since 1981. Thomas Mattanovich has been guiding people to Ethiopia's most distant places since the late 1960s. Thomas, who was born in the former Yugoslavia, moved to Ethiopia when he was 13 years old. He is an Ethiopian citizen who speaks three Ethiopian and six European languages. Samrawit and Thomas are both passionate about Ethiopia's environment, wildlife, and community development.
